The MAP Youth Leadership Council

The MAP YLC is a 9-month program for young people aged 16-21 from 17 MAP housing developments across the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). Through community-specific thematic discussions, skill-building workshops, and youth-led project development opportunities, council members explore self-narratives, group identity, and social justice education.
