2022 ONS Youth Leadership Council

What is the ONS Youth Leadership Council?

The Office of Neighborhood Safety (ONS) Youth Leadership Council (YLC) is an opportunity for New York City youth (ages 16-22) living in select NYCHA developments to work with policymakers and community organizations to advocate for local policy changes that improve community safety and wellbeing.

Do you have ideas to improve your community? Do you aspire to be a part of a team that builds on those ideas to make them a reality? Contact us about the 2022 YLC today!

No prior experience is needed! As a YLC member, you will learn necessary skills to amplify youth voices and shape local policies and programs.
